Warehouse Inventory Assistant

We are looking for an exceptional and motivated individual to join our dynamic warehouse team within our friendly and professional manufacturing environment. This role involves general warehouse duties such as assisting with inwards and outwards goods, optimization of warehouse storage, and cyclic stock counting.

The Successful Applicant:

Working within the warehouse environment, the successful applicant will have a minimum of one to two years' experience in a similar role. You will help with checking and receipting of inwards goods, using the fork hoist to load/unload trucks and generally assist the team to ensure the Warehouse is working at optimum efficiency. The Warehouse Inventory Assistant will also take responsibility for managing the cyclic stock take system and ensuring that the computer stock file is accurate for both components and finished goods. Two full stock take cycles are performed each year which will be a key responsibility. The Warehouse Assistant may be asked to help with domestic or international shipping as required.

An additional duty will be ensuring all components are available for the production team to manufacture finished products within strict time constraints for our customers. A strong sense of ownership and accountability is therefore essential. In addition, communication skills are of utmost importance, and the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of people is essential.

This is a highly responsible position that offers opportunities for further development for the right candidate.

A clean, full driver’s license is a prerequisite for this role. A fork hoist license is preferred, however suitable candidates will be supported and trained to obtain one if not currently held.
