Software Team Lead

Location: Auckland, New Zealand

We are looking for an experienced Software Team Lead to join our multi-faceted, cross-disciplinary R&D environment, and oversee a talented software team dedicated to creating the next generation platform suite for our global electronic security products.

The Successful Applicant:

We are looking for an experienced leader who will provide clear direction to help shape outstanding user-centric software. We need someone with tangible, verifiable results that can drive key projects in a team environment, while ensuring an inclusive and positive environment that encourages creativity and passion with high levels of team engagement and opportunity for collaboration.

This role requires a maniacal attention to product definitions and technical details, and you must be confident you can interpret and understand the technical challenges your teams face. You will have experience with Agile processes, be deeply familiar with DevOps and a background in .Net. 

Well versed with the software lifecycle and a sound understanding of best practice and modern software delivery practices, you will have demonstrable experience leading a team to deliver quality software to exceptional standards.

Essential Requirements:

  • Leadership skills
  • Building software native cloud environment (e.g. Azure or AWS)
  • Microsoft .NET Framework
  • Solid understanding of MSSQL, including triggers, and stored procedures.

Exceptional candidates will also have experience in:

  • WCF
  • C#
  • Azure App Services
